Having promoted Born Survivor for 3 previous series, and thanks to the world wide appeal Bear Grylls had achieved, this promo campaign went to a more abstract interpretation. The creative strategy and brief were based on the idea of “Bear Unleashed”.

With Bear Grylls as such a strong brand in its own right, staying away from the more traditional clip-based trailers (explaining the shows concept) did not damage ratings, rather appointment viewing increased
