WOW Cambridge 2015 explored many topics related to Women of the World including feminism and fashion, women footballers, hidden women in history, feminism across the ages, the male perspective, women in science and preventing violence against women.
Speakers included keynote speaker Dame ‘Steve’ Shirley, broadcaster Simon Fanshawe OBE and Natasha Walter as part of her three-part Humanitas series of talks.
The University of Cambridge Community Engagement team asked us to create a highlight film of a one day event they held at The Cambridge Junction on International Women’s day, Sunday March 8th 2015.
Our crew covered talks, workshops, the market place, exhbitions, as well as interviewing speakers, event organisers and delegates. In addition we also filmed 5 talks in full for the university’s archives.The day was for the women of Cambridge, yet was inclusive to the whole community.
